It’s my Birthday, so yes I am putting Captain America’s lovely derriere up on this blog, because I can. I am working on a few ideas to do with Cap in terms of crochet, but this post isn’t about that at all and I put that picture up purely because I can. I am however, giving my readers/followers/any one who happens to see this post a gift today. Because that’s what I want to do on my Birthday.
May, goodness is it already that month? My birth month and I love all of you but if one person says May the fourth be with you to me this year I am going to pull a hulk smash. My birthday is May 4th and it can be a little frustrating when your day is hijacked like that. A good hijack is the fact that Saturday is also Kentucky Derby day this year. Woot woot! So I have not been posting regularly again, I know boo. I won’t go into to many details about why I have not been posting, because I have said many of them before. Some of them are different, but either way let’s just say life is life sometimes and move on from there.
So it has been just over 10 days since I made my big Hello to the month post. It was the one outlining my hope for sinking teeth into the new year and a variety of other things. I have to say first of all, I am making progress. Second, I am still getting used to this new computer of mine. I am a big fan though. I am not a big fan of the fact that I can’t seem to find a skin for the keyboard that will fit, but well that is what it is. Anyways. I have done a fair amount of behind the scenes work to get things really rolling and moving forward. I am happy to be getting things done, but I wish that progress was better. Of course progress is a bit slower then I would have liked it to be because of…
I have begun to think that perhaps 2019 wishes to test my resolve and see just how committed I am. I am okay with that because it is only when we are truly tested that we can see just how willing we are to stick with something. know that I am committed to working on finding a better balance and to dedicating more time to get this website and most of all this BLOG going at a much steadier and scheduled rate of movement then it has been in previous years. Just as I was really getting into that groove that I briefly mentioned in my Jan post , my spread sheet was ready, my schedule sorted out…. the computer to which I had everything on gave up the ghost.
Greetings to anyone who might be reading this humble little craft blog,
Here we are, two weeks into a fresh new year, 2019. Is anyone else still writing 2018 on things? We all know that just tends to be an ongoing battle, haha. Anyways. I am not someone who tends to make resolutions for a new year. I feel doing that tends to set one up for failure and a chance to beat yourself up. I don’t like to do that. So instead I work on goals. I will set myself goals for each year and work to get to them. Sometimes I do it, sometimes I get close and sometimes I miss the mark. Overall for me I feel 2018 I made or made steps towards most of my goals.
